Can I add my company logo to products?

Can I add my company logo to products?

Yes! Most workwear brands offer logo printing to make your team look professional and coordinated. You order through Droppe, and brands handle the printing in-house.

Why logo printing exists

Here's the honest reason: Teams want to look unified. A jacket with your company logo turns generic workwear into branded professional attire. It's especially useful for customer-facing roles—electricians, plumbers, delivery teams—where brand visibility matters.

What we think is fair: Logo printing should be simple and coordinated by us, but done by brands who know their products best. They handle quality control and ensure logos don't compromise safety certifications (critical for PPE).

How it works

  1. Find a product that supports logo printing (indicated on product page)
  2. Upload your logo during checkout (we'll tell you accepted file formats)
  3. We coordinate with the brand to confirm logo placement and pricing
  4. You review and approve a digital preview showing exactly where the logo will appear
  5. Brand prints and ships your custom workwear directly to you

Quick tip: Not all products support logo printing. Check the product page—if you see a "Customize" option, logo printing is available for that item.

What to prepare

Before ordering logo printing, gather:

  • High-resolution logo file (vector formats like SVG, AI, or EPS work best)
  • Color preferences (some brands offer specific thread colors or ink options)
  • Placement preference (chest, back, sleeve—though brands may have limitations)
  • Quantity (some brands have minimum order quantities for custom printing)

Good to know: Brands do the printing in-house using their own equipment and methods. This ensures quality matches their standards and customization doesn't void safety certifications.

Timelines vary by brand

The honest truth: We can't give you one universal timeline because each brand works differently.

  • Some brands: 5-7 business days from order to shipment
  • Other brands: 10-14 business days (especially for complex embroidery)
  • During busy seasons: Add a few extra days

Why timelines vary: Brands might outsource to specialized embroidery shops, or they handle everything in-house. Some have dedicated custom teams; others process custom orders in batches. We show estimated timelines per brand on product pages.

Important: Customized items can't be returned

Once a brand prints your logo on workwear, it becomes personalized—we can't resell it to someone else. EU Consumer Rights Directive Article 16(c) specifically exempts personalized goods from the 14-day return right.

What this means:

  • You can't return logo-printed items just because you changed your mind
  • You can still return defective logo-printed items (bad printing, wrong placement, manufacturing defects)
  • You should double-check sizing, colors, and logo placement before approving production

Good to know: This isn't us being strict—it's EU law. Personalized products can't be returned unless defective. That's why we require your approval on a preview before brands start printing.

Safety products require extra care

Important: Logo placement on PPE (safety jackets, helmets, gloves) can affect CE certification. Brands ensure customization doesn't compromise safety, but you need to specify if items are PPE.

Why this matters: A reflective stripe covered by a logo defeats the purpose of high-visibility workwear. Brands know where logos can safely go without affecting compliance.

Pricing

Logo printing costs vary by:

  • Brand (each sets their own pricing)
  • Method (embroidery costs more than screen printing)
  • Complexity (multi-color logos cost more than single-color)
  • Quantity (some brands offer volume discounts)

Pricing is shown before you confirm the order, so no surprises. If a brand's logo pricing doesn't work for your budget, you can cancel before production starts.

Intellectual property (IP) matters

You need to own or have rights to use the logo. When you upload a logo, you're warranting that:

  • You own the intellectual property rights, OR
  • You have explicit permission to use it (e.g., franchisee using brand logo), OR
  • The logo is in public domain

Why we care: Brands could face legal issues if they print trademarked logos without authorization. If there's any doubt about IP ownership, reach out to us first.

We don't offer logo design services, but we can recommend:

  • Freelance designers on platforms like Fiverr or Upwork
  • Brand guidelines if you're part of a franchise or larger organization (ask your HQ)
  • Simple text-based logos (many brands can print your company name in clean fonts)

If you only need text (no graphics), mention that when ordering—it's usually faster and cheaper than complex logos.

Our philosophy on customization

We think logo printing should feel simple. You're already busy running a business—coordinating custom workwear shouldn't require 10 emails and 3 weeks of back-and-forth.

That's why we coordinate for you. You upload your logo, we work with the brand, and you approve a preview. Done. The brand handles quality control because they know their products best.

Fair deal: You get professional-looking team workwear. Brands control quality and safety. We handle coordination so it's seamless.
