Within the first 2 hours, contact us immediately—we may be able to catch your order before brands start fulfillment. After that, changes are difficult, and your best option is to use our 30-day returns policy.
The honest reason changes are hard
Here's what most people don't realize: Your order doesn't sit in our warehouse waiting to be picked. The moment you place an order, it's sent directly to brand warehouses across Europe for confirmation.
Brands have 24 hours to confirm, but many start fulfillment within 2-6 hours. Once they:
- Print packing slips
- Pull products from shelves
- Apply shipping labels
- Hand off to carriers
...it's too late to stop.
We wish we could offer instant cancellations, but we're a marketplace connecting you with European brands who fulfill directly. We can't pull products off their warehouse shelves remotely.

What we can do in the first 2 hours:
- Contact brands before they start fulfillment
- Sometimes catch orders before confirmation
- Modify quantities or sizes if brands haven't started packing
No guarantees, but we'll try.
2-24 hours: Small window, low chance
Brands are likely already packing or have confirmed. We can still ask, but success rate is low.
What usually happens:
- Brand already started fulfillment → can't stop
- Brand hasn't started yet → may agree to cancel (rare)
After 24 hours: Too late to cancel
Order is confirmed and in fulfillment. At this point, the best path forward is:
Option 1: Let it ship, then return
- Receive products within 3-5 business days
- Start return via returns.droppe.com
- Free return shipping if items pass inspection (unused, tags attached)
- Refund processes within 1-2 business days after inspection
Option 2: Refuse delivery (not recommended)
- When carrier arrives, refuse to accept the package
- Package returns to brand, but this takes 7-14 days
- Refund delayed until brand receives and inspects returned shipment
- Slower than using our returns process

Scenario 1: Ordered wrong size
Best solution:
- Within 2 hours: Contact us—we may catch it
- After 2 hours: Let it ship, return via returns.droppe.com, order correct size
- Pro tip: Order both sizes next time, return the one that doesn't fit (free return shipping if unused)

Scenario 2: Ordered duplicate items by mistake
Best solution:
- Immediately: Contact us to try canceling duplicate
- If too late: Receive both orders, return unwanted items within 30 days
Scenario 3: Found better price elsewhere
Honest answer: We can't cancel orders because you found a better deal. Our pricing reflects the European brands we work with and the service we provide.
What we think is fair: Once you commit to an order, brands start fulfilling. Canceling for price reasons creates waste (labor, packaging, carrier arrangements). We think that's not fair to brands or other customers who pay for this service.
Alternative: If you haven't ordered yet, compare prices before checkout. We're confident our pricing is competitive for authentic European workwear.
Scenario 4: Ordered from wrong company account
Business customers with multiple accounts:
- Contact us within 2 hours
- We can sometimes transfer orders between accounts before fulfillment
- After 2 hours, let it ship and invoice to the original account
Scenario 5: Need to change delivery address
Within 2 hours: We can update address if brands haven't shipped yet.
After shipping: Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number. Some carriers allow address changes mid-transit (fees may apply).
After delivery attempt: If undeliverable, package returns to brand. Contact us to arrange re-shipment (shipping fees apply).
What if I have multiple items and only want to cancel some?
Partial cancellations are even harder.
Why: Each brand fulfills their items as a single shipment. We can't ask them to pull 2 items out of a 10-item order mid-packing.
Your options:
- Within 2 hours: Contact us—we might be able to cancel entire brand's portion
- After 2 hours: Receive everything, return unwanted items within 30 days
Example:
You ordered:
- 5 jackets from Brand A (want to cancel 2)
- 3 pairs of gloves from Brand B (want to cancel all)
What we can do:
- Try to cancel all 3 gloves from Brand B (entire brand's portion)
- Can't cancel just 2 of 5 jackets from Brand A
Multi-brand orders: Cancellation complexity
If you ordered from 3 brands and want to cancel the entire order:
We need to contact 3 separate brands. Each may be at different fulfillment stages:
- Brand A: Already shipped → can't cancel
- Brand B: Packing now → too late
- Brand C: Not confirmed yet → might cancel
Result: Partial cancellation at best. The brands that already started will ship. The rest might cancel.

Our philosophy on cancellations
We get it—mistakes happen. You ordered the wrong size. You ordered twice. You changed your mind. We've all been there.
Here's the constraint: We're a marketplace, not a warehouse. Orders go directly to brand warehouses across Europe. Once brands start fulfillment (which happens fast), stopping them is like trying to stop a moving train.
What we think is fair:
- We give you a 2-hour window to catch mistakes—that's more than most marketplaces
- After that, we offer 30 days to return with free return shipping (if inspection passes)
- This balances your flexibility with respect for brands' fulfillment operations
Trade-off: You lose the ability to cancel instantly, but you gain access to 100+ European brands fulfilling fast from local warehouses. We think that's worth it.
Prevention: How to avoid cancellation requests
Before placing your order

- Check per-brand totals for shipping thresholds
3. Confirm delivery address
- Must be accessible during business hours (9am-5pm weekdays)
- Double-check building name, floor, company name

- Business invoice requires credit check (24-48 hour delay possible)
- Card payment is instant

- Delivery address correct?

This 30-second check saves hours of hassle later.
What if brands cancel my order?
Sometimes brands can't fulfill due to stock issues, discontinued items, or errors.
If a brand cancels within 24 hours:
- You'll receive an email notification
- That brand's portion is refunded automatically
- Other brands in your order still ship normally
You'll receive:
- Explanation of why the brand couldn't fulfill
- Options: Wait for restock, substitute with similar product, or refund
- No cancellation fees or penalties
We don't control brand inventory, but we hold them accountable to confirm within 24 hours so you're not left waiting.
