Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Can I change my delivery address after ordering?

Maybe—but you need to act fast. If the brand hasn't shipped yet, we can update your address. Once it's shipped, you'll need to work directly with the carrier.

Here's your timeline

⏱️ Within first 24 hours (best chance)

What to do: Contact us immediately with your order number and new address.

Success rate: High. Most brands take 24-48 hours to process and ship orders. If we catch them before they print the shipping label, we can update your address.

Quick tip: The faster you contact us, the better. Orders placed in the evening might ship next morning—don't wait.

📦 After shipping label created

What happens: Once the brand prints your shipping label, the address is locked into the carrier's system.

Your options:

  1. Contact the carrier directly using your tracking number
  2. Request address change through carrier's website or app (DHL, DPD, UPS often allow this)
  3. Set up delivery redirect if the carrier offers it in your area

Good to know: Some carriers charge €5-€10 for address changes after label creation. That's the carrier's fee, not ours—we can't waive it.

🚚 Package already in transit

What to do: Work with the carrier, not us.

Options that sometimes work:

  • DHL: Use the "redirect package" feature in their app
  • DPD: Request delivery to a pickup point instead
  • UPS: MyChoice lets you reroute packages (if you're registered)
  • National postal services: Call their customer service

What doesn't work: Asking us to intercept a package mid-transit. We don't have access to carrier logistics once it's moving.

Why changing addresses is hard

The honest reason: Brands ship directly from their warehouses using their own carrier accounts. Once they hand off your package, we're not in the logistics chain anymore. The brand, carrier, and delivery address are locked in.

What we think is fair: We'll help if we can catch it early. After that, it's between you and the carrier—which makes sense because they control the package at that point.

Multiple brands = multiple shipments

Important: If you ordered from multiple brands, each ships separately.

You'll need to:

  • Update address for each brand's shipment separately
  • Contact us once with all order details
  • Follow up with each carrier using separate tracking numbers

Moved after placing your order?

Best approach:

  1. Update your Droppe account address for future orders
  2. Contact us about pending orders - we'll update what we can
  3. Set up mail forwarding with your local postal service (as backup)

What if the wrong address was my mistake?

No judgment. Mistakes happen—especially if you have multiple addresses (home, work, warehouse).

What we'll do:

  • Try to update if brand hasn't shipped
  • Guide you through carrier rerouting options
  • Help however we can

We won't charge you for address changes on our end. Carrier fees are out of our control.

Address already updated but package went to old address?

Two common reasons:

  1. Multiple orders: You updated Order A but forgot about Order B from a different brand
  2. Timing: We updated our system, but the brand had already shipped

Solution: Check all tracking numbers. If one went to the wrong address, contact that carrier directly.

Our philosophy on address changes

We think you should control where your workwear goes. If we can update it before shipping, we will—no questions asked. Once it's shipped, carrier policies take over. That's just logistics reality.

Fair deal: Act fast, and we'll help. After shipping, we'll guide you to the right contact (the carrier).
