How do I create an account?
Creating an account takes 2 minutes. You can start as an individual and upgrade to a business account later if you need invoice payment or team features.
Two ways to create an account
Option 1: Sign up before ordering (recommended)
Go to droppe.com and click "Sign Up" or "Create Account" in the header.
Why this is better: You can save products to favorites, track orders easily, and checkout faster. If you're ordering for a business, you can set up invoice payment before your first order.
Option 2: Create account during checkout
Add products to cart and proceed to checkout. You'll be prompted to create an account before completing your order.
The catch: You'll create a basic account first. To unlock invoice payment or team features, you'll need to upgrade to a business account after checkout.
How to create your account
1. Visit droppe.com and click "Sign Up"
2. Enter your email and create a password
- Use an email you check regularly
- You'll receive order updates and tracking here
3. Choose your account type:
Account Type | Best For | Payment Options | Team Features |
|---|---|---|---|
Individual | Workers buying for themselves | Card, local payment methods | No team features |
Business | Companies, teams, procurement | Invoice (with credit check), card, local methods | Add team members, shared order history |
4. Complete your profile
- Name and delivery address
- Phone number (for delivery notifications)
- VAT ID (if you're a business)
5. Verify your email
You'll receive a confirmation email. Click the link to activate your account.
Done. Start shopping.
Individual vs Business accounts
Here's the honest difference:
Individual Accounts (for workers buying personally)
What you get:
- Fast checkout with card payment
- Track your orders
- 30-day returns policy
- Save favorite products
What you DON'T get:
- Invoice payment (card only)
- Team member access
- Company order history
Who it's for: Workers ordering workwear for personal use, even if you're buying for work purposes.
Business Accounts (for companies and teams)
What you get:
- Everything in Individual account, PLUS:
- Invoice payment (after credit check)
- Add multiple team members
- Shared order history
- Company billing information
- Bulk order management
The catch: Invoice payment requires a credit check via SCHUFA (Germany) or equivalent in your country. This is a "conditional inquiry" that doesn't affect your credit score.
Who it's for: Companies ordering workwear for teams, procurement departments, business owners.
Why we ask for a VAT ID (business accounts)
The honest reason: Invoice payment carries financial risk. If someone doesn't pay, we've already sent the workwear and paid the brand.
VAT IDs help us verify you're a legitimate business. It's not about being strict—it's about protecting our ability to offer invoice terms to everyone.
What we think is fair: Businesses that need invoice payment provide business credentials. Individuals who prefer card payment skip this step entirely. Simple.
What if I want to upgrade to a business account later?
Easy. Go to your account settings and select "Upgrade to Business Account."
We'll ask for:
- Company name and registration number
- VAT ID
- Billing address
If you want invoice payment, we'll run a credit check. If approved, you're set—net 14 days on all future orders.
Can I have multiple accounts?
You can, but we don't recommend it.
Why not? Your order history, saved favorites, and team access all live in one account. Multiple accounts create confusion—especially if you're managing orders for a team.
What we think is fair: One account per email. If you need separate accounts for personal and business orders, use different email addresses.
What if I already placed orders without an account?
You can still create an account using the same email address. We'll link your previous orders to your new account so you can track them.
