How long does logo printing take?

How long does logo printing take?

Logo printing typically takes 8-22 business days total from order to delivery. This includes approval (1-3 days), production (5-14 days), and shipping (2-5 days). Exact timelines vary by brand and method.

Why we can't give one universal timeline

The honest reason: Each brand works differently. Some have dedicated custom printing teams and finish in 5 days. Others batch custom orders weekly and take 14 days. We show estimated timelines per brand on product pages.

What we think is fair: Transparency upfront. You see the estimated timeline before ordering. If you're in a rush, we'll tell you which brands are fastest—or if rush options are available.

Typical timeline breakdown

Phase 1: Logo approval (1-3 business days)

After you place your order and upload your logo:

Day 1: We forward your logo to the brand

Day 1-2: Brand reviews technical feasibility, creates digital preview, confirms pricing

Day 2-3: We send you the preview for approval

Quick tip: This phase goes faster if you upload high-quality files and include clear notes about placement preferences. Brands can approve faster when details are clear.

Phase 2: Production (5-14 business days)

Once you approve the preview, production starts. Timeline depends on:

Method used:

  • Screen printing: 5-7 days (fast once screens are made)
  • Heat transfer: 5-8 days (quick setup, manual application)
  • Embroidery: 8-14 days (digitizing takes time, stitching is slower)
  • DTG (direct-to-garment): 7-10 days (print time + curing)

Brand capacity:

  • Brands with in-house teams: Usually faster
  • Brands outsourcing to specialists: Add 2-3 days for coordination
  • Peak seasons (autumn workwear orders): Add 2-5 days

Order size:

  • 1-10 items: Standard timeline
  • 11-50 items: May add 2-3 days
  • 50+ items: May add 5-10 days (batched production)

Good to know: Brands often batch custom orders. If you order on Monday and they process customs on Thursdays, production might not start until Thursday. This batching keeps costs down.

Phase 3: Shipping (2-5 business days)

Same as regular orders—brands ship directly to you from their warehouse.

  • Germany to Germany: 2-3 days
  • Cross-border EU: 3-5 days
  • Remote areas: Add 1-2 days

Can I get it faster?

Sometimes. Here's what affects speed:

Rush production (if available)

Some brands offer rush production for 20-50% extra cost. Typical rush timelines:

  • Standard: 10-14 days → Rush: 5-7 days
  • Extra fee: €50-150 depending on order size

Ask us about rush options when placing your order. Not all brands offer this, and availability depends on their current workload.

Quick tip: Rush fees make sense for urgent team events or replacements. For regular orders, the standard timeline usually works fine.

Choose faster methods

If speed matters more than method:

Fastest → Slowest:

  1. Heat transfer (5-8 days)
  2. Screen printing (5-7 days, but requires quantity)
  3. DTG printing (7-10 days)
  4. Embroidery (8-14 days)

Brands usually recommend the best method for each product, but you can ask: "What's the fastest option?"

Order during off-peak times

Slower periods (faster fulfillment):

  • January-February (post-holiday slow season)
  • June-July (before autumn workwear rush)

Busier periods (add 2-5 days):

  • September-November (companies ordering autumn/winter workwear)
  • March-April (spring workwear orders)

What slows down orders

Common delays to avoid:

1. Low-quality logo files

If your logo file is too low-resolution, brands can't print it. They'll ask for a better file—adding 1-3 days.

Solution: Upload vector files (SVG, AI, EPS) or high-res PNG/JPG (300 DPI minimum).

2. Unclear approval

If you take 5 days to approve the preview, production starts 5 days later.

Solution: Check your email regularly after ordering. Approve or request changes within 24 hours.

3. Changes after approval

Requesting changes after approving the preview can restart production—adding another 5-14 days.

Solution: Double-check everything (size, colors, placement) before approving.

4. Incomplete information

Missing details (quantity, placement preference, color) require back-and-forth—adding 1-2 days.

Solution: Include notes during checkout: "Left chest placement, 8cm wide, navy blue thread."

Tracking your custom order

Custom orders follow the same tracking as regular orders:

  1. Order placed: You receive confirmation email
  2. Preview ready: We email you the mockup (1-3 days)
  3. Production started: After you approve
  4. Shipped: You receive tracking number
  5. Delivered: Workwear arrives

Good to know: You won't see "production started" tracking updates because brands handle this internally. You'll get tracking once it ships.

What if my order is taking longer than expected?

First 10 days: This is normal. Approval + production takes time.

After 15 days: Reach out to us. We can check with the brand and give you an update.

After 20 days: We'll escalate with the brand. Something may have caused a delay (equipment issue, file problem, etc.).

What we think is fair: You shouldn't have to wonder where your order is. If timelines stretch beyond what we promised, we'll find out why and keep you updated.

Our philosophy on custom order timelines

We think honesty beats false promises. We could say "5 days for all orders!" but that's not realistic. Different brands work at different speeds, and quality takes time.

Fair deal: We show realistic timelines upfront. If you need it faster, we'll tell you which brands can deliver—or if rush options exist. No surprises, no overpromising.

Questions about timelines?

In a rush? Drop us a message with your deadline. We'll recommend the fastest brands or check if rush production is possible.
