Why hasn't my tracking updated?
Why hasn't my tracking updated?
Tracking numbers can take 24-48 hours to show activity after a brand ships your order. During that time, the carrier is receiving and processing your package—it's moving, tracking just hasn't caught up yet.
The most common reasons
1. Tracking number just created (0-48 hours)
What's happening: The brand handed your package to the carrier, but the carrier hasn't scanned it into their system yet.
How long it takes: Usually updates within 24 hours. Sometimes 48 hours if the carrier picks up in bulk at end of day.
2. Weekend or holiday delay
What's happening: Carriers don't always scan packages on weekends or holidays. Your package might be sitting in a depot waiting for the next business day.
How long it takes: Updates resume on the next business day.
3. In transit between hubs (rare)
What's happening: Your package is on a truck or plane between carrier facilities. Not every step gets scanned.
How long it takes: 1-3 days without updates is normal for long-distance shipments. Tracking updates when it reaches the next hub.
4. Carrier technical issues (very rare)
What's happening: The carrier's tracking system is down or experiencing delays updating their database.
How long it takes: Usually resolves within 24 hours.
When to start worrying
Don't worry if:
- It's been less than 48 hours since you got the tracking number
- It's a weekend or holiday
- Tracking says "Label created" or "Information received"
Contact us if:
- 5+ business days with zero tracking updates
- Tracking says "Delivered" but you didn't receive it
- Tracking shows an error or "Unable to locate package"

Here's what's really happening behind the scenes
The honest truth: Brands ship from their own warehouses, and carriers batch-process pickups. Your package might be picked up at 6 PM but not scanned until the carrier sorts overnight shipments at 2 AM. Then it takes a few more hours for that scan to hit the public tracking system.
What we think is fair: We give you the tracking number as soon as the brand provides it—even if it's not active yet. You'd rather have the number early than wait an extra day for it to start showing updates.
How to track your order
- Check your email - We send tracking numbers as soon as brands provide them
- Visit the carrier's website - Click the tracking link in your email
- Give it 24-48 hours - Most tracking starts showing activity within this window
What each tracking status means
Status | What it means | When to expect updates |
|---|---|---|
Label created | Brand generated shipping label | 24-48 hours |
Information received | Carrier has label data, not package yet | 12-24 hours |
In transit | Package is moving | Every 1-3 days at hubs |
Out for delivery | On truck heading to you | Later today |
Delivered | Package arrived | N/A |
Multiple brands = multiple shipments
Important: If you ordered from multiple brands, you'll get separate tracking numbers for each brand.
Example:
- Brand A ships Monday → Tracking updates Tuesday
- Brand B ships Wednesday → Tracking updates Thursday
Check all tracking numbers—they won't all move at the same pace.
Sweden-specific note
If you're in Sweden and tracking says "Postens" or "Bring," give it an extra day. Swedish postal tracking sometimes updates slower than courier services like DHL or UPS.
Our philosophy on tracking transparency
We think you deserve to know where your workwear is. That's why we send tracking numbers immediately—even if they're not active yet. Waiting until tracking is "live" would just delay the information you need.
Fair deal: You get tracking numbers fast. In exchange, you might need to wait 24-48 hours for the first scan. We think that's better than keeping you in the dark.
