Can I get a replacement item instead of a refund?


Yes! We offer free exchanges for different sizes or colors of the same product. Just contact us at orders@droppe.com and we'll coordinate the exchange. It's faster than processing a refund, and we'd rather help you get the right item than lose you as a customer.


Why we prefer exchanges


The honest reason: We want you to be happy with your workwear. If the size or color isn't right, we'd rather send you the correct one than give you your money back and hope you come back later.

  • Guaranteed stock: We reserve your replacement while coordinating the exchange
  • Less hassle: One process instead of return + new order
  • Free shipping both ways: Return the wrong item, get the right item—all free


What's in it for us: You stay a customer, find the right workwear, and (hopefully) order from us again.


Quick tip: Exchanges are available for same product in different size/color only. Want a completely different product? You'll need to do return + new order.


How exchanges work


Step 1: Contact us


Before shipping anything back, email us:


Contact info:


Tell us:

  • Order number
  • Product you want to exchange
  • What you want instead (size, color)
  • Reason for exchange (wrong size, wrong color, etc.)


Step 2: We coordinate with the brand


What happens:

  1. We contact the brand to confirm replacement is in stock
  2. We reserve your replacement item
  3. We send you a free return label for the wrong item
  4. We process the exchange order


Timeline: Usually 1-2 business days to set everything up.


Step 3: Ship back the wrong item


Pack it up:

  • Original packaging (if possible)
  • Tags attached
  • Unused condition (no wear outdoors or at work)
  • Include all accessories


Use the return label we send you (free shipping).


Ship within 30 days of receiving the original order.


Step 4: Replacement ships


Once the brand receives your return:

  1. They inspect it (same criteria as regular returns: unused, tags on, resalable)
  2. If it passes inspection, they ship your replacement
  3. You receive the correct size/color


Timeline: Typically 7-10 business days total from when you ship the return.


Good to know: Your replacement ships AFTER we receive and inspect the return. This ensures you're only getting one item (not stuck with both).


What qualifies for exchange


✅ Yes, we can exchange:


Different size, same product:

  • Ordered Medium jacket, need Large
  • Ordered size 42 boots, need size 44


Different color, same product:

  • Ordered black gloves, prefer hi-vis yellow
  • Ordered navy pants, want grey instead


Same brand, same model, different variation:

  • As long as it's the exact same product listing


❌ No, exchange not available:


Different product entirely:

  • Ordered boots, want shoes instead → Return + new order
  • Ordered one brand's jacket, want different brand → Return + new order


Customized items (logo printing):


Defective products:


Out of stock replacement:

  • If the size/color you want is out of stock, we'll offer refund instead
  • We'll notify you before processing anything


Exchange vs return + new order


When to use exchange:


Best for:

  • Wrong size in same product
  • Wrong color in same product
  • You know exactly what you want instead


Advantages:

  • Faster (we reserve replacement)
  • Guaranteed stock (doesn't sell out while return processes)
  • One coordinated process


When to do return + new order:


Best for:

  • Want a completely different product
  • Not sure what size/color you want yet
  • Want to shop around before reordering


Advantages:

  • More flexible (can change your mind)
  • Can wait for sales or new products
  • Get money back if you decide not to reorder


How to do it:

  1. Start return at returns.droppe.com
  2. Order new item whenever you're ready (doesn't have to be immediate)
  3. Refund processes in 7-10 business days

What if I'm not sure what size I need?


Option 1: Order multiple sizes first


If you haven't ordered yet:

  1. Order 2-3 sizes of the product
  2. Try at home
  3. Return what doesn't fit (free returns)


No exchange needed—just return the wrong sizes.

Option 2: Get sizing help before exchanging


If you already have the wrong size:

  1. Contact us with your measurements
  2. We'll recommend the right size based on the brand's chart
  3. THEN we process the exchange


Better than guessing and exchanging twice.

Multiple items to exchange?


Yes, we can coordinate multiple exchanges in one go.


Example:

  • Ordered 3 jackets in Medium, need all 3 in Large
  • Ordered 5 pairs of gloves in size 9, need size 10


Process:

  1. Email us with full list of exchanges
  2. We coordinate with brand for all items
  3. One return shipment, one replacement shipment


Saves time compared to exchanging each item separately.


Team orders and exchanges


Ordering for a team and some sizes are wrong?

  • Work directly with brand for faster processing
  • Help you get sizing right for the whole team


For large team orders, exchanges are often easier than multiple returns.

What if replacement is out of stock?


We'll notify you before processing the exchange.


Your options:

  1. Wait for restock - We'll let you know estimated timeline
  2. Choose different color (if available)
  3. Refund instead - Full refund, no exchange


We won't leave you hanging. You'll always have options.


Exchange timeline


Total time: 7-14 business days from when you contact us.


Breakdown:

  • Day 1-2: We coordinate with brand and send return label
  • Day 3-5: You ship return, brand receives it
  • Day 6-7: Brand inspects return (passes/fails)
  • Day 8-10: Replacement ships from brand
  • Day 11-14: Replacement arrives


Faster than refund + new order (which is typically 10-15 days).


What if exchange return fails inspection?


Same rules as regular returns:

  • Item must be unused, tags attached, original packaging
  • No outdoor wear, no work site wear, no washing


If it fails:

  1. We email you with options
  2. You can keep item + partial refund (price minus return shipping)
  3. Or donate item + partial refund
  4. Or ship back to you, no refund

Defective products (warranty, not exchange)


Different process if item is defective.


For defects:

  • Manufacturing flaws
  • Wrong item shipped
  • Damaged in transit


We coordinate warranty replacement:

  1. Contact us with photos
  2. We verify with brand
  3. Brand ships replacement at no cost
  4. Return defective item (we cover shipping)


This is 2-year legal guarantee, not the 30-day exchange policy.
