Do brands ship directly?
Do brands ship directly?
Yes—brands ship directly from their own European warehouses to your door. Droppe doesn't touch, warehouse, or repackage products. We're a platform connecting you with brands, not a distributor.
How direct fulfillment works
1. You order on droppe.com
- Browse products from 250+ brands
- Add items to cart (can mix brands)
- Checkout once
2. Order routes to brand warehouse
- Each brand receives their portion of your order
- Brands confirm within 24 hours
- Brand picks, packs, and ships from their warehouse
3. Brand ships directly to you
- Ships via DHL, UPS, or local carrier
- Tracking number provided
- Arrives in 2-5 business days (average)
4. You receive workwear
- Products arrive in brand packaging
- No Droppe branding on box (unless brand includes it)
- Invoice/receipt available in your account
Why direct fulfillment matters
1. Faster delivery
Brand warehouses are distributed across Europe:
- Germany-based brand ships from Germany
- Italian brand ships from Italy
- No central warehouse bottleneck
Result: Average 2-5 business days delivery, not 2-3 weeks.
Example:
Order safety boots from Finnish brand → Ships from their Finnish warehouse → Arrives in 2 days (vs. 2 weeks if routed through central Droppe warehouse).
2. Fresher stock
Brands ship current inventory:
- Products come straight from brand warehouse
- No sitting in third-party distribution centers
- Newer manufacturing dates, less shelf wear
Why this matters: Workwear (especially PPE) has shelf life. Direct shipping means you get fresher products with full lifespan.
3. Brand maintains quality control
Brands handle their own fulfillment:
- Pack according to their standards
- Include brand materials (catalogs, warranty cards)
- Ensure products arrive as intended
No middleman: Droppe doesn't repackage, which means less handling and fewer opportunities for damage.
4. No surprise customs fees (DDP)
All brands ship "Delivered Duty Paid" (DDP):
- Customs duties included in price
- No surprise fees at delivery
- Brand handles customs paperwork
Why this matters: Ordering from non-EU suppliers often means €30-50 surprise customs fees. With Droppe, price you see = price you pay.
What if I order from multiple brands?
You'll receive multiple shipments.
Example order:
- 5 pairs of safety boots from Brand A
- 10 work jackets from Brand B
- 20 gloves from Brand C
You'll get 3 separate deliveries:
- Brand A ships boots (arrives Day 2)
- Brand B ships jackets (arrives Day 3)
- Brand C ships gloves (arrives Day 2)
Tracking: Each shipment has its own tracking number—all visible in your Droppe account.
Does Droppe verify products before shipping?
No—and here's why:
Brands are responsible for quality:
- European brands follow strict EU safety standards
- They have more to lose from defects than we do (reputation, certifications)
- Direct accountability keeps quality high
Administrative verification only:
- We verify brand certifications upfront (CE marking, PPE compliance)
- We monitor return/defect rates continuously
- Poor-performing brands get dropped
Our philosophy: Brands are experts at their products. Adding a Droppe inspection layer would slow delivery and add costs without improving quality.
What's in the package?
Brand packaging:
- Products arrive in brand's own boxes/bags
- Brand labels and materials included
- No Droppe branding (unless brand chooses to include "Available on Droppe" sticker)
Packing slip:
- Shows product details, quantities, order number
- Does NOT show wholesale prices (per our supplier agreement)
- Does NOT include brand's direct contact info (orders go through Droppe)
Why: We're a marketplace. Brands fulfill, but Droppe handles customer service, returns, and support.
Can brands see my information?
Yes, but only what's necessary for fulfillment:
Brands receive:
- Your delivery address (to ship products)
- Your name/company name (for shipping label)
- Order details (products, quantities)
Brands DO NOT receive:
- Your email address (support goes through Droppe)
- Your payment information (processed by Stripe)
- Your order history with other brands
Why this matters: We protect your information while ensuring brands can fulfill your order properly.
What if delivery is delayed?
Who to contact: Always contact Droppe first—not the brand directly.
Why:
- We coordinate with brands on your behalf
- We have visibility across all your orders
- We can expedite resolution faster than going through brand customer service
How we help:
- Check tracking status with carrier
- Contact brand warehouse if needed
- Arrange reshipment if package is lost
- Process refund if delivery is unreasonably delayed

What about returns?
Returns go through Droppe, not brands directly.
Process:
- Start return at returns.droppe.com
- Print free return label
- Ship back to brand warehouse (address on label)
- Brand inspects return
- Droppe processes refund
Why not return directly to brand? We centralize returns to ensure consistent policy application and faster refunds. Brands inspect, but Droppe handles customer communication and payment processing.

Can I visit brand warehouses to pick up orders?
No—online orders only.
Why:
- Brands optimize warehouses for shipping, not walk-in customers
- Pricing on Droppe may differ from brand's direct retail pricing
- Insurance and liability reasons
Alternative: If you need same-day pickup, contact us and we'll check if any local brands can accommodate (rare exception, not standard).
