What if the size isn't right for an item I received?


No problem. Return it within 30 days for free return shipping—as long as the item is unused with tags attached.


How to return the wrong size


  1. Go to returns.droppe.com
  2. Select the item and choose "Wrong size" as the reason
  3. Print your free return label
  4. Pack securely with tags still attached
  5. Drop off at carrier location


Your refund processes within 1-2 business days after inspection confirms the item is unused and resalable.


Quick tip: If you're unsure about sizing, order multiple sizes to compare. Return the ones that don't fit—you have 30 days to decide.


What "unused" means for sizing returns


You can (and should) try workwear at home to check the fit:


Do:

  • Walk around indoors on clean floors
  • Try on over your clothes
  • Check mobility and comfort
  • Compare against other sizes


Don't:

  • Wear outdoors or in work environments
  • Remove tags or CE markings
  • Actually use the item for work
  • Wash or alter the product


The idea: Try it like you would in a fitting room—enough to know if it fits, but not so much that it can't be resold.


Why sizing can be tricky with workwear


Here's the honest reason sizing is harder online: Workwear brands don't all use the same sizing standards. A "Large" from one brand might fit differently than a "Large" from another. We're working with brands to transition to EN 13402 (European standard sizing), but it takes time.


What we recommend:

  1. Check brand-specific size charts on each product page
  2. Read fit feedback from other buyers (when available)
  3. Contact us before ordering if you're between sizes—we'll help

Order multiple sizes if unsure


What we think is smart: Order 2-3 sizes if you're not sure. Try them all at home. Keep the one that fits best. Return the rest within 30 days.


Why this works:

  • You get to compare fits side-by-side
  • No rush—you have 30 days to decide
  • Free return shipping on items that pass inspection
  • Way better than guessing and being stuck with the wrong size


The only catch: All returned items must be unused with tags attached. If you wear one size outdoors and try to return it, inspection will fail.


What if I ordered the wrong size for my whole team?


It happens. Maybe you bulk-ordered Medium jackets and realized your team needs Large. Here's what to do:


  1. Don't open everything - Only open what you need to verify sizing
  2. Contact us ASAP - orders@droppe.com or chat
  3. We'll coordinate - Might be able to arrange an exchange directly with the brand


Why contact us first: For large team orders with sizing mistakes, we can sometimes coordinate faster solutions than standard returns. No guarantees, but it's worth asking.


Can I exchange instead of returning?


We don't have a formal "exchange" process (yet). Here's how it works:


Current process:

  1. Return the wrong size → Get refund
  2. Order the right size → Place new order


Why we do it this way: We're a marketplace. Different brands fulfill orders at different speeds. An "exchange" would mean coordinating two shipments from the same brand, which gets complicated fast.


Upside: You're not waiting for your return to process before ordering the right size. Order now, return wrong size whenever (within 30 days).

Customized items (logo printing)


Special rule: If you ordered workwear with your logo printed and the size is wrong, you unfortunately cannot return it—unless the sizing error was our fault or the product is defective.


Why: Once we print your logo, the item is personalized. We can't resell it to someone else. EU law agrees: personalized goods are exempt from return rights.


How to avoid this:

  • Order one sample item in your size before adding logos
  • Confirm sizing fits your team
  • Then order the full batch with logos

Honest advice: Sizing mistakes are frustrating for everyone. You wait for delivery, try it on, it doesn't fit, then you wait for returns and reorders. Brands lose money on returns. We all waste time.


Better approach: Contact us before ordering if you're unsure about sizing. Seriously. We'd rather spend 5 minutes helping you order the right size than process returns for weeks.
