When will I receive my refund?

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds process 1-2 business days after your return passes inspection. Money appears in your account 2-5 business days later, depending on your bank.

Full refund timeline

Day 1-5: Return shipping to brand

Day 6-7: Inspection (24-48 hours)

Day 7-8: Refund initiated (1-2 business days after passing)

Day 9-13: Money in your account (2-5 business days bank processing)

Total: Most customers see refunds 7-13 business days after dropping off the return.

Good to know: We can't speed up bank processing. Once we initiate the refund, it's in your bank's hands.

How you'll know your refund is coming

Email 1: "Return received"

Brand has your package. Inspection starting.

Email 2: "Inspection passed"

Your return passed! Refund processing within 1-2 business days.

Email 3: "Refund sent"

Money on its way. Should appear in 2-5 business days.

Your bank notification

Depending on your bank, you might get SMS/app notification when money hits your account.

Refund goes to original payment method

We refund the same way you paid:

  • Paid by credit card → Refund to that card
  • Paid by debit card → Refund to that card
  • Paid by PayPal → Refund to PayPal
  • Paid by invoice → Adjusted invoice or bank transfer

Can't change payment method after the fact. If your card expired, refund still processes—banks usually forward to your new card automatically.

Bank processing times vary

Credit cards: 2-3 business days (fastest)

Debit cards: 3-5 business days

PayPal: 1-2 business days

Bank transfers: 3-5 business days

Why the variation? Different banks process refunds at different speeds. We have no control over this.

What if my return doesn't pass inspection?

You'll get an email with 3 options:

  1. Keep item, partial refund (refund minus shipping)
  2. Donate item, partial refund
  3. Ship back to you, no refund

Timeline: You have 7 days to choose. If we don't hear from you, we default to Option 1.

Refunds during peak seasons

Expect delays:

  • January (post-holiday returns)
  • September (back-to-work orders)
  • Post-Black Friday

Add 2-3 extra days during these periods—brands handle more volume, inspections take longer.

What slows down refunds?

Common delays:

  • Weekend arrival (no inspections until Monday)
  • EU holidays (varies by country)
  • Failed inspection (requires you to choose an option)
  • Banking holidays (refund initiated but bank closed)
  • Wrong return address (package misrouted)

Most delays are 2-4 days, not weeks.

Partial refunds (return shipping deducted)

If your return fails inspection and you choose to keep the item:

  • We refund product price minus return shipping (~€5-€15)
  • Processes same timeline (1-2 business days after your decision)

You'll see: One refund amount, slightly less than full product price. Email explains the deduction.

Multiple items in one return

If all items pass: One refund for the total.

If some items fail: Separate refunds—one for items that passed, adjusted refund for items that failed.

Timeline: Might arrive on different days if inspection completes at different times.

Refund missing after 15 business days?

Check first:

  1. Did inspection pass? (Check email)
  2. Is refund "pending" in your bank? (Shows before it clears)
  3. Right payment method? (Same one you used for purchase)

Still missing? Contact us with:

  • Return tracking number
  • Payment method used

We'll investigate with the brand and your bank.
